12 random questions to an AS student
When I started thinking about different articles I thought about getting to know people better and showing the people that read the blog what is going on in an Anglophone Section student’s life. I asked Siane, a premiere student in AS 12 random questions.
Interviewer: What do you like to do in your free time?
Siane: I enjoy going out with my friends and I really like to dance.
Interviewer: Is dance a passion to you? Why do you like it so much?
Siane: I really love dancing because dance is at the same time artistic and athletic so it creates the perfect combination. I also really like music so dancing with music is also very enjoyable for me.
Interviewer: Great I really love dance as well. Can you enjoy this hobby with other people and who?
Siane: My friends mostly.
Interviewer: When did you start practicing it?
Siane: In 7th grade.
Interviewer: What are the best kinds of dance to you?
Siane: Hip-hop and modern jazz I think.
Interviewer: Do you like La Tour? And the Anglophone Section?
Siane: La Tour I like it, yes and the Anglophone Section as well.
Interviewer: What do you particularly like in the Anglophone section?
Siane: I would say the teachers and the diversity of the activities.
Interviewer: Who is your favorite teacher in the Anglophone Section?
Siane: Honestly? Mrs Brown. She’s amazing. She made us learn without even giving us the impression of doing so. We had fun in every class and we learned a lot as well.
Interviewer: What do you want to do when you grow up?
Siane: I would like to study law or work in marketing.
Interviewer: Who is your celebrity inspiration?
Siane: The woman Hyeonseo Lee, best known for her book: «The Girl with Seven Names”. She is a North Korean defector and activist who lives in South Korea, where she is a student. She escaped from North Korea and later guided her family to freedom from the country through China and Laos. This woman is very courageous and her braveness impresses me.
Interviewer: What kind of music do you listen to? Is there a singer that you particularly like?
Siane: I like modern and pop music. I think the singer Zayn who left One Direction (a famous boy’s band) has made improvement in his singing skills and new songs.
Interviewer: With your good English, did you ever think about studying abroad? If yes, why and where?
Siane: Of course. I think the education method abroad is really intelligent because student skills in every school subject are important so all of the school subjects as well as the students are valorised and orientation is much diversified. I think about universities in England and United States. My first choice is UCL, and then there is Imperial, Kent and LSE.
Interviewer: Really interesting. Well thank you Siane for your time.
Siane: Thanks to you.
